Pharmacy

The pharmacy fills more than 6,000 prescriptions a month. Prescription service is available to all eligible beneficiaries. Please ensure you check in at the pharmacy to activate the prescription from your provider. The pharmacy may dispense up to a 90-day supply of chronic medication with refills for one year if requested by your provider and allowed by law. Prescriptions from civilian providers will be honored if the prescribed medication is on our formulary. The Beale Clinic Pharmacy stocks all items on the Department of Defense Basic Core Formulary, as well as many other medications. Refill requests will be ready in three business days if the pharmacy pickup location is selected. If ScriptCenter is chosen as the pick-up option, the refill will be available after 5 p.m. the following business day.

TRICARE Formulary Search Tool

Use the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to look up your drug. A search can tell you:

• Formulary status (generic drug, brand-name drug, non-formulary drug, non-covered drug)
• Where the prescription can be filled
• Copayments and limitations, such as prior authorization
• Coverage review requirements and forms
• Alternative medications, including costs

To start your search, you’ll need to put in the brand name or generic name of the drug and then select the strength prescribed, as well as your gender and age
